Aire Park, Leeds
Rhodar’s comprehensive enabling works programme at the Aire Park development in Leeds has helped to prepare the site ready for the construction phase, which is now progressing at pace.
With the building of the new 8-storey multi-use blocks A & B (MU3A) well underway, our Passive Fire Protection team has worked hard on site to install various passive fire protection solutions across the services’ penetrations, resulting from various M&E works being undertaken by the various trades.
During this 11-month programme, Rhodar’s 10-man team coordinated closely with client, Vastint, the architects and the regulating authority, FIRAS, to ensure that all compartmentation lines within each room/zone was fully complaint and certified as each floor was sequentially completed.
Stuated on the site of the former Tetley Brewery and ASDA Merchandising Centre of Excellence in central Leeds, the Aire Park development scheme comprises multi-storey, mixed-use commercial and residential buildings and a brand-new urban park centred around the historic Tetley Building.
