We understand your environment

Typically education projects can occur in complex surroundings, from the risk posed by high student footfall during term time to tight deadlines on our larger projects during holiday periods/shutdown. With this in mind we offer low-key working with effective segregation in busy locations, paying close attention to access routes to avoid congestion and potential safety issues. For your peace of mind, our operatives are DBS checked and fully trained on working in occupied premises.

We carry out works throughout the year and react to emergencies arising from fire and flood. However, naturally, we have peaks during school holiday periods. Working alongside other contractors to strict timescales, we have the capacity and planning expertise to meet these needs, and the skill to collaborate seamlessly with all stakeholders.

With our experience of working in campus environments, on a widespread portfolio of properties from CLASP-type structures and Victorian buildings to 1960s concrete constructions, we are well equipped to deal with buildings of different usages, from labs with chemicals, gyms and plant rooms to high rise classroom blocks. We support the HSE’s asbestos in schools initiative, are one of the preferred suppliers for the NEUPC and have worked on BSF and Pf2 schemes.
