Sons follow in Fathers' footsteps (x2!)

Rhodar’s new apprentices continue in family footsteps: Louis Clarke & Louis Barker joined our demolition division last year.
Their dads, Tony Clarke (Rhodar Contracts Director) and Steve Barker (Rhodar Site Manager) have been colleagues and friends for over 20 years.
Both Louis’ have also been good friends from an early age and wanted to follow the family tradition to become the next generation of demolition experts within Rhodar.
Tony stated: “The apprenticeship scheme is a great way to bring new, enthusiastic candidates into the business at an early age. The pair have really thrown themselves into the work and it’s lovely to see them making their own name for themselves within the company…we’re incredibly proud of the progress that Louis and Louis are both making.”
The apprenticeship programme, established by the NFDC, involves rigorous training over a 2-year period. Rhodar is looking to develop apprenticeships across all divisions of the business.
