'Santa Goes Skiing' Game - Winners & Charities announced
Posted on in Company News
Wishing a Happy New Year to all our clients, suppliers and colleagues!
We’d like to kick-start 2025 by saying a big thank you to the hundreds of people who played Rhodar’s ‘Santa Goes Skiing’ online game at the end of last year.
As always, all players who registered their scores were entered into a prize draw for a combination of charity donations totalling £1,100…and we are now delighted to announce our three winners and their chosen charities:
1st prize winner – Lee Russell
2nd prize winner - Andy Bate
3rd prize winner – Oliver Bride
Both Lee and Oliver wish to send their respective donations of £500 and £250 to MANUP?.
MANUP? is the only men’s mental health charity committed to actively fund research undertaken by Dr Susie Bennett (Glasgow University), focusing on why men are struggling with mental health issues. The charity provides free group therapy sessions, and regularly collaborates with businesses, schools, the NHS, and other charities to break down the stigma surrounding male mental health. Along with a strong social media presence, MANUP? organises regular events across the country to educate and support those in attendance.
Andy has selected Lauren’s Legacy to receive his donation of £350.
Lauren’s Legacy is a small local charity helping teenagers and young adults going through their cancer treatments by granting wishes. This may involve a family holiday, concert tickets to see their favourite band, sports events or providing luxury gifts such as iPads or laptops. All monies raised go directly towards the teenagers affected and their families.
Congratulations to our three winners, Lee, Andy and Oliver! We’re delighted that these two fantastic charities will benefit from our festive initiative.
(In addition…we just had to make reference to our highest scorer this year, Jordan Appleby, who achieved a final tally of 9,308 points … an incredible achievement!)
