Rhodar is currently undertaking intricate construction enabling works at the Turner Dental Hospital in Manchester.
The education centre, situated at the impressive Manchester Royal Infirmary campus, is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment by main contractor, City Build, to install a new plant room on the roof of the building.
Rhodar is preparing the roof area for this new installation by exposing, cleaning and re-sealing all of the upper sections of the building’s steel risers which contain enclosed pipework that are insulated with asbestos-containing material.
This 8-week project is part of a wider programme of works to be undertaken across the MRI campus for the principal contractor.
Rhodar’s Passive Fire Protection division is also currently in the process of updating and installing fire doors throughout the stairwells of the six-storey building.
