Rhodar returns to London Docklands
Posted on in Company News

Rhodar is delighted to be back working on another significant Silvertown Quays development project in London’s Docklands, as we continue our longstanding contribution to the £3.5bn regeneration of this area.
Operating adjacent to the iconic Millennium Mills building, where Rhodar recently delivered a major enabling works package, we are now undertaking the intricate demolition of the former Rank Hovis Premier Mill.

The five-month project consists of structural demolition activities, including the design & installation of a 70m pontoon to facilitate the construction of a 30m high cantilever scaffold system to protect the prestigious Royal Victoria Dock.

Part of this intricate project involves the salvage and retention of numerous historical mill artifacts along with a high degree of recycling & materials re-use.
