​Rhodar Homeworks achieves 100,000th project milestone

Last month, Rhodar Homeworks, our specialist housing/insurance division passed a major milestone by completing its 100,000th asbestos abatement project!

This landmark project was delivered for RSA (Royal Sun Alliance), one of our key insurance clients.

Whilst Rhodar is well known for delivering large commercial and industrial enabling works projects across the UK, many won’t be aware that we also have a dedicated ‘Homeworks Division’, working purely in the housing sector. This team undertakes asbestos works within domestic insurance repair (through frameworks with RSA, Aviva, Direct Line etc), local authority housing stock (including ALMOs) and Housing Associations & MOD Housing (FDIS contract).

The division comprises specialist operatives & claim management staff with additional training to support interaction with vulnerable people in their own homes & housing liaison officers, a high-capacity call centre, utilising dedicated management systems to track progress of the very high volume of projects undertaken each year and produce precise management information (MI).

A decade ago, we recognised that the demands of working with housing stock required a very different delivery model when dealing with tenants, policy holders and liaising with claims handlers, loss adjusters, local housing authority management teams and other sub-contract trades: so we established ‘Rhodar Homeworks’.

Over the years, we have honed this delivery model, working as framework provider for leading names such as RSA, Aviva and Direct Line, and now enjoy industry leading customer satisfaction and NPS* (Net Promotor Score) levels (NPS rolling average of 65, rising to 95 in September 2022).
