Trainee Asbestos Removal Operative – Secure site

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to appoint Trainee Asbestos Removal Operatives in the Berkshire area to conduct work on a secure site.

For this position you must possess DV or SC clearance.

Pay rates:

Trainee Operative: £125 per day.

Once training period is completed the day rate will increase to £135 per day.

Allowances – per day:

• £20 for DV or SC clearance
• £10 for working on a Bank Holiday
• £10 for working away
• £10 per night for working on nights
• £40 per day for working on a weekend

Job Role:

An Asbestos Removal Operative is required to conduct site set up and safe abatement of asbestos containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works.

Operatives may be asked to work various shift patterns including weekends.

Person Specification:

• Security clearances – SC or DV clearance.
• Friendly, calm and professional manner.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Full driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
