Asbestos Removal Supervisor

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Asbestos Removal Supervisor in the Glasgow area.

Salary: £140 - £160 per day for experienced Supervisors dependent on experience, plus the following allowances:

• £20 for working on a Bank Holiday
• £20 for working away
• £20 per night for working on nights
• £40 per day for working on a weekend

Main duties:

• To Supervise all types of asbestos removal and refurbishment works following safe working procedures in accordance with the Method Statement, ensuring that you comply with all company rules, policies and directives when required.
• Effectively managing site paperwork (Site Diary, Completion paperwork and waste consignment notes).
• Site management to ensure all works are being carried out to a high standard and complying with all H&S regulations.
• Communicating to the Management team and Office Staff to facilitate the smooth running of your projects.

About you:

• Previous supervisory experience within the asbestos removal industry required.
• Good customer service skills, problem solving and ability to deal with complaints and on site issues.
• IT literate.
• Must hold a full clean driving licence.
• Towing licence would be an advantage.
• Willing to work and stay away from home when required.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must work to and follow company standard procedures.
